First blog!

Hi friends,

As I sit here in my dorm room, my heart is overflowing with excitement and anticipation. I have felt a stirring within me, one I could not ignore, and today I am excited to finally begin sharing with you all my journey as a full-time Christian and a part-time writer.

I am currently a college student who was confronted by love four months before starting her first semester. Love ran up on me in a dark season and now all I see is love. My whole plan for college was interrupted and God has made my crooked path straight. He has given me this uncontainable passion and a sort of eagerness to share the gospel. So I took a spiritual gifting test online with my dad for fun and we learned that my gift is evangelism. Coincidence? Nah, I prefer to call it a divine nudge. 

Fast forward to college life, and here I am, living out my calling on the front lines of Texas A&M University. Whether it’s sitting in math class verbally sharing the power of the gospel to my neighbor, or simply sharing the gospel by my actions, my zeal for spreading the love of Jesus only keeps growing. 

If you know me personally, I have probably told you my dreams of pursuing missionary work. Everyone usually follows it with a “where do you want to go?” And honestly, I don’t know. But what I do know is that souls in need are everywhere, and they all deserve to hear the life-changing message of grace. 

God has been confirming this calling as I find myself delving deeper into the Bible and have become a full on geek for anything Jesus. I began an apologetics journal to tackle the tough questions people might throw my way as a missionary. I plan to post those entries as well as the steps taken with God as my guide. 

Walk with me as we follow the words of Jesus: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19. These words remind us that we are not alone in this calling–that God will be with us every step of the way.
